Code of Conduct

Last updated: August 8, 2026

Our pitch, our rules

Omby is pickup football: casual, social, and open to everyone. A few simple rules keep the game fun and safe for all players, whether you are winning big or losing in the last minute. By joining a game, you agree to follow this Code of Conduct.

Show up right

Every player is expected to:

  • Arrive on time. If you are running late or can no longer make it, tell the host and the other players as early as possible.
  • Communicate with respect toward the host, your teammates, and the other team.
  • Play fair and in the spirit of the game.
  • Leave the venue as you found it, and return balls and shared gear.

What is not welcome

The following behaviours are not accepted at any Omby game:

  • Dangerous play. No slide tackles, no reckless challenges, no unnecessary force.
  • Insults, discrimination, or aggressive or violent behaviour.
  • Playing under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • No-shows or last-minute drops that leave a game short.

Consequences

Hosts are responsible for their game and may ask a player to leave if they break these rules. Repeated or serious breaches can lead to penalties, temporary suspension, or a permanent ban from Omby. We want every game to be one you would happily come back to.

Report a problem

If something goes wrong during or after a game, report the player directly in the app, or contact us so we can look into it.
